The second round of the Downmall series was held in the -7 degree area of Germany, Berlin! The snow was falling heavily outside but luckily these races are all inside the lovely warm shopping centres!
The track was far more intense than Hannover. It consisted of two huge doubles and a technical drop that saw several riders crash out during practice.
My qualification run went very smooth and my ‘careful’ approach put me in 8th place. Unfortunately I made a few mistakes on my final race run which dropped me just outside the top ten. Its still early in the season and I know to hold tight and avoid injury because the results will come soon!
